Building Core Expertise in Contemplative Pedagogy at Xavier University of Louisiana

"Sustaining the Dialog" (2013-2014) aimed to support faculty in developing a contemplative curriculum, deepening faculty understanding of contemplative pedagogy, sharing expertise with colleagues, and ultimately enhancing student learning experiences. This program was funded by a generous grant from the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society. A full report on the grant is available. Sustaining the Dialog led to additional support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation for the formation of a Xavier Contemplative Inquiry Team.
