Good news! TechSmith, maker of Camtasia, has some of the best online tutorials. It makes sense, doesn't it? After all, that's one of the main things Camtasia is used for.

Here's how to access them.

Visit the main TechSmith Support page:

https://support.techsmith.com/hc/en-us

Select Camtasia, making sure to choose either Mac or Windows accordingly, and then choose "Using Camtasia." Select your version of Camtasia (probably 2020 as of this writing) and this should land you on a page with loads of video tutorials. Go to "Camtasia 2020 Video Tutorials" for the full listing.

Sure, you could work through them all. Please feel free to do so. But if you are pressed for time, we recommend two tutorials in particular which should get 90% of faculty 90% of the way there.

  • "Record, Edit, Share"
  • "Record a PowerPoint Presentation"
