Instructional Materials: See Brightspace Examples

Purpose: It should be very clear to students what instructional materials (e.g., texts, articles, websites, videos, slides) are required and how these materials can be accessed. There is a variety of ways this can be done in Brightspace. The purpose of this activity is to give you specific examples of how instructional materials can be provided to students within your Brightspace course.

Viewing examples of ways that instructional materials can be presented in an online course will assist you in meeting the following objectives:

Course
  • Develop an online course that incorporates eight general standards for quality online teaching.
  • Build an online course in the Brightspace learning management system.
  • Design an online course specifically for the education of XULA students.

Module
  • Identify effective ways to share instructional materials on Brightspace.
