Are you concerned about academic dishonesty in your classes? Do you want to learn more about how to deter cheating and plagiarism?Join us for a workshop on proactive strategies for academic integrity!
In this workshop, you will learn:
- The latest research on academic dishonesty
- How to create a culture of academic integrity in your classes
- Effective strategies to deter cheating and plagiarism
- How to use the Turnitin anti-plagiarism tool to discourage plagiarism
The workshop will be led by Ms. Janice Florent (CAT+) and Dr. Thomas Huckaba (Biology). Dr. Huckaba uses Turnitin in his classes. He will explain how he uses Turnitin and share his experiences with using Turnitin.
This workshop, the sixteenth in our #LEX Advanced series, builds on the skills you learned in the #LearnEverywhereXULA course AND is designed for faculty who want to learn more about how to promote academic integrity in their classes. Whether you are a new faculty member or a seasoned veteran, this workshop will give you the tools you need to create a positive and productive learning environment for your students.
