Traditional assessment methods often fall short in capturing students’ true abilities and fostering authentic learning experiences, and the introduction of AI (artificial intelligence) tools further complicates the task of accurately assessing genuine student learning.

This workshop will delve into innovative approaches to assessment that are both engaging and rigorous in the age of AI. We will explore how instructors can design assessments that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, while also mitigating the potential risks associated with AI-powered tools.
