First-Year Faculty Cohort

CAT+FD is interested in the success of new faculty. We recognize that without dedicated and prepared faculty, we cannot achieve our shared mission of the promotion of a more just and humane society and preparing students to assume roles of leadership and service in a global society. As a result, we have many resources and activities planned specifically with new faculty in mind. These offerings include:

• New Faculty Orientation
• Monthly brown bags that feature university offices, programs and opportunities across campus
• Faculty mentoring
• Pedagogical and scholarly workshops

These programs are coordinated by our Faculty in Residence.
