In this meeting participants shared individual goals — what each of us wants to get out of our participation in the group. We found nine goals related to personal contemplative ''practice'', six related to implementing contemplative ''pedagogy'', and four related to research, writing and ''publishing'' on these topics. Practice is a foundation necessary for the other two goals. A number of participants stressed their interest in deepening and diversifying their practice of contemplation. This gives us a sense of our focal points going forward, and accordingly in our next meeting participants will share information about our personal practice(s).

We also discussed the best way of sharing relevant news. Bart has sent a couple roundups via email, a sort of "resources and opportunities" newsletter. We'll try also adding these to the wiki so people can find them again in one central repository. We'll call this [[XCITRON]].
